Requests for weight loss injections

We are getting increasing requests for medications such as Ozempic and Mounjaro that help with weight loss.

At present, the NHS roll-out only allows GP's to prescribe for patients with a BMI of 40 or more with 4 obesity-related conditions.

Other patients need to complete Tier 2 Weight Management Course and can then be referred to Tier 3 Weight Management Programme.
