At Dykes Hall Medical Centre, our purpose is to provide high-quality, compassionate, and accessible healthcare to all members of our community, whilst remaining person centred. We are committed to delivering patient-centred care that promotes health, wellbeing, and dignity for every individual we serve.

We pride ourselves on being a small friendly practice and aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. We strive to create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment where patients feel listened to, valued, and involved in decisions about their care. We work collaboratively to deliver safe, effective, and professional medical services while continuously improving the quality of care we provide.

We are dedicated to promoting equality, confidentiality, and respect in all aspects of our practice, ensuring that every patient receives care tailored to their individual needs. Through teamwork, innovation, and a strong commitment to the local community, we aim to support healthier lives and positive healthcare experiences for all.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare service.

Both sites are attached to an independent pharmacy, with which we have established good working relationships with.

The practice is registered to provide training to doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. All training staff are under the supervision of either one of the GP partners, or the advanced nurse practitioners.

  • Disabled access at Dykes Hall is from Dykes Hall Road (Front entrance)
  • Disabled access at Deer Park is the main entrance via a ramp from car park.
  • Both sites have ground floor consulting rooms
  • Both sites have a disabled toilet
  • Both sites provide baby changing facilities 
  • Translation services are available
  • If you are experiencing hearing difficulties when being called in to see the doctor or clinician, please do let us know in order for us to set up an alert on your medical records and personally collect you from the waiting room. Alternatively, we do have the facility of a portable induction loop. If you would like to use this, please ask at reception for assistance.

CQC Rating

The CQC monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and publish what it finds, including performance ratings to help people choose care.

GP earnings

All GPs are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

Teaching Practice

We are involved in training GP speciality trainees and Foundation doctors.

All trainees are under supervision with one of the GP partners, and have regular de-briefs to discuss the consultations each clinic. You can choose not to see one of the trainees if you prefer

 

Patient Participation Group

Patient Participation Group (PPG) refers to patients, such as you, who are taking an active interest in healthcare. It gives you the opportunity to have a say in how services are planned, developed and evaluated, by development a good working relationship with the practice staff and doctors.
