Medical Emergency


If you think you are suffering a medical emergency; such as chest pain and/ or shortness of breath, please telephone 999 to avoid any delays.

For urgent advice when the surgery is closed between the hours of 8.00am to 8.30am and 6.00pm to 6.30pm, ring the surgery and you will be put through to the GP Coop, for the doctor on call.

For urgent advice outside these times please dial 111.

Don’t forget you can visit your local pharmacy for lots of health issues.


NHS 111


NHS 111 provides 24 hour advice and information. The service is staffed by a team of fully trained advisers, supported by advanced nurses and paramedics. Where possible the NHS 111 team will book you an appointment at one of the local OOH Hub’s or transfer you directly to the people you need to speak to.


Walk in Centre


Any patient can be seen for medical treatment for a range of minor illnesses and aliments at the walk in centre. The local walk in centre is based at Rockingham House, Broad Lane, Sheffield, S2 3PB.


Local Pharmacy


You can get advice from your local pharmacist for lots of health issues, including when to visit your GP. The pharmacist will be able to help you with concerns such as;

  • Back pain
  • Dermatitis
  • Heartburn/ Indigestion
  • Nasal congestion
  • Constipation
  • Migraines
  • Coughs
  • Acne
  • Sprains
  • Headaches

You can talk to your pharmacist in confidence, and you don’t even need to make an appointment.
